Unique Individuals

These Lemax figures are new for 2003.  They are interesting individual -pieces, each with its own character.  A hallmark of good sculpting is that sedentary figures and those involved in slow, small activities still stand out well.  Unique figures give a scene character.  They impart an extra spark of interest, turning the mundane into the exquisite.

Girl with tree - she makes a great figure for a passenger waiting at railroad station or bus stop.

Even the back is well-detailed.  A fine, conspicuous figure will add plenty to an otherwise sedate scene.

Cigar store indian - a humorous character figure.

This postman is reminiscent of the mid-20th Century, from the 1930s until the early 1960s.

Grandmother figure.

Gathering kindling - an amusing vignette which fits in many places, from the Victorian era to a modern outdoor skating party.

This stalwart fellow carries a painting.

True to the art, the Lemax sculptor made sure that even the rear of the portrait was done well.

Squirrels on a  tree stump.

A new snowman from Lemax.  Like their previous snowmen, this fellow has plenty of character.  A great pieces to add some interest to any good snow scene.
