Cycle of the Birch Rune
The Bjork Rune cycle is very simple. It goes from weak to strong. The cycle gains in strength, intensity and vitality. It is like the growth from infant to toddler. In another way, it is like the healing power of going from sick and weak to healthy and strong.
The Bjork cycle might remind you of Perdra, which goes from a spark and grows to the thing itself. Though similar, they are distinct. I liken Bjork to growth and Perdra to gestation. A little investigation will reveal their distinctive natures, differences and similarities.
The Bjork cycle is not like that of the Elk Rune. Elk is a continuous repetition of average to intense, whereas Bjork is a single cycle that takes weak thing and makes it strong. Bjork is gradual; Elk has two stages that repeat. Think about this.
Two things related to the Bjork Rune come to mind. One is infants. The child grows from a very weak and vulnerable state to strength and relative independence. The other is healing. Bjork goes from a sick or injured state to a healthy one. I find it notable that both states are tended by a female presence. The mother tends the child, and the nurse tends to patients. This is not exactly a matter of the Rune’s cycle, but it is part of the Rune’s nature. You would benefit to consider this for a while.
