The April Fool

We all have fun on April Fool’s Day playing little jokes and pranks. Let us not forget that humor can also be a way of revealing truth. How often is the joke a little too close to an unpleasant reality? Indeed, humor can shine light on things that need to be seen from another perspective.

The court jester was not only an entertainer. He was also an advisor who used humor to furtively convey his impressions of guests to the King. The King’s fool worked much like Loki. In fact, Loki is the patrons of jesters and comedians.
