Thank Asgard!
I had a funny experience tonight. We were setting up for the train show over in Ocean Grove. In the same room were people who use it every week for their “prayer group.” While we put up track and accessories at one end of the room, they had their little group. It was a husband and wife and their two kids. The kids were young teenagers who obviously had to play music for the weekly thing. The electric guitar and drums were way too much for such a small place. Their guests were four very old people.
The kids were lousy musicians and the wife’s singing was so bad it could evoke a nest of Goetic demons. We tried not to laugh out loud. Our worship fills a room with Life. Theirs was doing just the opposite.
Audrey and I got the track and most scenery up, and decided we would finish setting up in the morning. Before we left, I traced a Tyr Rune in the air. Strange but true, a second later the door opened slightly all by itself. The air freshened. We took that as our cue and headed for home.
Incidents like this reinforce our gratitude for being Heathen.
And we especially thank Tyr for his input this evening.
