The Ase Rune describes something that is good. It is not an abstract good, but a good that can be appreciated. Good coffee, good food, a good day, and anything else that is good are expressive of Ase. To that degree, they reflect the nature of the Gods. Generally, to be “of the Gods” is good. When we appreciate a thing that is good, we are also recognizing a quality it shares with the Gods.

Heathen Good is not abstract good. Our good is something you can readily experience and appreciate. Therein do we find the Ase Rune at work. Can it be any more simple?
