Complexity’s Simple Solution
Here is how to handle complex jobs and do it right the first time. This is very simple. It is so simple that people say, “I already knew that.” The problem is that they do not DO it. Knowing is not the same as doing.
Most complex jobs are actually series of smaller jobs. There is a sequence in which they should be done. The trick to doing it right is twofold. First, treat each step in the sequence as a job in itself. Second, do each job in its proper sequence. Do not skip ahead. If you treat each smaller job as a job in itself, and if you do them in their proper order, you will probably get the complex job done right. It is that simple.
The most important things are often the simplest.
I have been teaching this for a long time because it works. Try it. You will like the results.
