Talent
The magickal talent is like any other. Some people have more of it than others. That means that the other people have to study and practice more. I have seen individuals of great talent. Some got it easily, some earned it though effort. I have many theories as to why this is. Theories are nice for idle speculation. The undeniable fact is that people come with varying degrees of talent.
It is also a fact that the type of talent varies. There are people who are precociously psychic, people who are naturally radiant and others who can naturally project power. People with a natural talent need training as much as those who do not. Raw talent is a problem as well as an asset. Trained talent is a joy.
Talent always works best when backed by training. By refining and controlling one’s assets, one enjoys great advantages. The key to magickal expertise is the same as any other worthy endeavor: study and practice. Whether a person has great natural talent or not, training makes a difference!
